Public accountability for IBKR customer complaints

This site is currently being built. The mission is simple: give Interactive Brokers (IBKR) customers a public, visible place to post complaints, document patterns, and push for better service with transparent public scrutiny.

IBKRcomplaints.com is intended to help customers share fact-based experiences publicly, keep complaint records visible, and increase accountability so unresolved issues are harder to ignore.

This platform became necessary after a client lost thousands of dollars due to a bug on the IBKR platform that prevented them from closing a leveraged position at a small profit, resulting in the position turning significantly negative. What followed was an extended period of waiting for an investigation and even basic communication.

When responses eventually arrived, they were vague and inconsistent, with no acknowledgment of responsibility and no effort to make the client whole. In the end, the client was blamed for the platform bug and was forced to absorb thousands of dollars in losses caused by a failure of the platform itself.

Situations like this raise serious concerns. When a company's systems fail and the response lacks transparency, accountability, and customer remediation, it can reflect a broader corporate culture that prioritizes protecting the firm over protecting its clients and their funds.
